CAPACITY4EU: Civil Society for EU Integration

The EU began accession negotiations with the Republic of Moldova in June 2024. The project CAPACITY4EU strengthens civil society actors in Moldova for their participation in the negotiations and supports them in further EU integration.

ConnectBY – Belarusian civil society in diaspora

Enlargement, Neighbourhood, Central Asia

After mass demonstrations in Belarus in 2020, numerous civil society actors had to leave the country. Many of them have settled in Germany and Ukraine. ConnectBY supports their networking and their work for a democratic Belarus.

Future of European Integration

Election year 2024: What are the European policy implications of national elections in the EU? The IEP identifies their implications for Germany and Europe and assesses the elections in a structured and interactive way.

Eurasia Lab and Fellowship Programme

Young researchers from Eastern Europe and Eurasia receive support through fellowships to realise their research projects. The Eurasia Lab & Fellowship Programme also helps them network with other researchers and activists working on the region.

GEO4EU – Georgian Civil Society for EU Integration

The Republic of Moldova was officially designated as a candidate country for the European Union in June 2022.. The NEXT4EU project supports civil society in accompanying European reforms and especially the young generation in engaging in the integration process.

reforMD – Resilient against Disinformation in the Republic of Moldova

EU accession aspirations of the Republic of Moldova put the country more in the focus of Russian disinformation. reforMD aims to strengthen resilience against disinformation through dialogue between civil society and political actors as well as capacity building at a local level.
