Marfa Rabkova, Nasta Loika, Hanna Ablab: they are only three of a total of 180 Belarusian women who are currently imprisoned in Belarus for political reasons. The calendar illustrates them and presents their commitment in short texts in Belarusian and English. It also commemorates their birthdays.
Initiated and edited by Alena Aharelysheva, the calendar was published as part of her fellowship in the IEP's VisiBYlity project. The graphic designer Hanna Kisialiova was herself imprisoned in Belarus for political reasons until recently.
The calendar also supports the media project Politvyazynka: the project aims to increase the visibility of Belarusian female political prisoners imprisoned for their anti-war and democratic views. The project conducts interviews with oppressed women and their relatives and helps to collect parcels for female political prisoners in Belarus.

The calendar is available below for download and free use. A small number of printed copies are also available if you are interested. If you are interested, please contact Laura Worsch (laura.worsch@iep-berlin.de).
