At the European Council summit on 21/22 March 2024, Moldova's progress with regard to EU accession negotiations will be reviewed. In four contributions, participants of our NEXT4EU trip take a look at existing challenges for Moldova's EU integration process.

Civil society organisations play a key role in the recovery and EU integration of Ukraine. The Research Project Facilitator promotes independent analyses by regional think tanks and NGOs, deepens their cooperation with local authorities and counteracts brain drain.

The EIB-IEP lunch debate discussed the future of cohesion policy in the context of "Next Generation EU" and the EU's enlargement ambitions. The balance between scope, efficiency and reform orientation of cohesion policy will be decisive in the new multiannual financial framework.
