Germany votes, Europe counts!

Asylum policy - Germany's voice in Brussels

Johanna Hase, researcher at the IEP Berlin, emphasises: ‘Asylum and migration policy does not end at Germany's borders, but must be thought of in European terms. The Bundestag elections will help decide which course Germany takes in Brussels:
Shared responsibility vs. national compartmentalisation
Safe escape routes vs. deals with third countries
Human rights vs. pushbacks at the external borders

The non-partisan Europa-Union Deutschland, the IEP Berlin, the European Federalists and the Federal Network for Civic Engagement shed light on the European implications of the election and show why your vote counts not only for Germany, but also for Europe.
Every vote for a democratic party is a vote for Europe.
