Biography:
Dr. Oksana Huss is a researcher in the BIT-ACT research project at the University of Bologna in Italy and a lecturer at the Anti-Corruption Research and Education Centre in Ukraine (ACREC). Her research focuses on (anti-)corruption and social movements, open government and digital technologies.
Oksana Huss holds a PhD from the Institute for Development and Peace in Germany and has completed several research stays in Canada, France, the Netherlands and Sweden. She has worked as a consultant for European and international organisations such as the Council of Europe, the EU, UNESCO and UNODC. Furthermore, Oksana Huss is co-founder of an Interdisciplinary Corruption Research Network (ICRN) and author of the book "How Corruption and Anti-Corruption Policies Sustain Hybrid Regimes: Strategies of Political Domination under Ukraine's Presidents in 1994-2014".
