The German-Nordic-Baltic Forum (GNBF) traditionally brings together thinkers - academics from EU think tanks and universities – as well as planners - representatives from politics and administration of the partner countries – and thus facilitates the exchange between academia and politics. Current problems in the region are identified in order to work out possible common solutions.
This year, the Director-General for European Affairs at the German Federal Foreign Office, Sibylle Katharina Sorg, will open the 15th German-Nordic-Baltic Forum with a keynote on the forum’s theme "Building European Resilience in the Face of Internal and External Challenges", followed by comments from Ambassador Marika Linntam from the Republic of Estonia.
