On 20-21 November 2009 the 19th Annual Conference of the German-Hungarian Forum was held on the premises of the Andrássy University in Budapest. This bilateral dialogue initiative, organized by the IEP and presided by Elmar Brok (MEP) and Prof. Dr. Péter Balázs, serves as a medium for the exchange of ideas and experiences between high-ranking representatives, experts in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and science, as well as members of social groups from the Federal Republic of Germany and Hungary.
Dr. Andras Racz, SPES fellow from Hungary, was one of the speakers in the first panel under the title: “The Eastern Dimension of the European Neighbourhood Policy: EU’s Relationship with its Neighbours.”
