Am 9. und 10. Dezember 2010 fand zum zweiten Mal das Deutsch-Nordisch-Baltische Forum unter Beteiligung von Verwaltung und Wissenschaft aus 8 Ländern in Berlin statt.
Based upon the idea that a more dense exchange of views is needed between policy actors and academia from Germany, the Nordic and the Baltic states the second German-Nordic-Baltic-Forum took place in Berlin on 9 and 10 December 2010. Under the general title “Specific challenges confronting the EU in a mid- to long-term perspective" high ranking representatives from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Lithuania, Lativa, Norway and Sweden were able to discuss again about questions of recent concern, like the following:
- Which design of future relations with Russia and our common neighbours?
- The Financial Crisis, the Eurozone and its Enlargement
- The Implementation of the Lisbon Treaty in CFSP/CSDP – an ever growing common foreign policy?
- How to manage the external aspects of European Energy Security?
