Young participants of the #EngagEUrCouncil project will discuss their ideas on European climate policy and the role of the EU in the world with members of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

Ideas about "EU in the World" and "Climate Change and Environment" will be presented by young European citizens at the public debate. They will discuss those ideas with members of the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE). The demands have been developed in the course of the "#EngagEUrConference: Forum for Young Ideas for the Future of Europe".

Daniel Freund, Member of the European Parliament, Nik Prebil, Member of the State Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, and three elected representatives of the youth project will take part in the debate.

Afterwards, the ideas will be contributed to the digital platform of CoFoE.

The event "#EngagEUrConference: Forum for Young Ideas for the Future of Europe" is part of the project "#EngagEUrCouncil. Youth exchange and youth participation" of Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) Berlin. About the #EngagEUrCouncil: Young agenda-setters for Europe project: Young Germans, Slovenians and Portuguese meet in a virtual think tank gaining knowledge on the priorities of the current Trio EU Council Presidency. They develop political demands for the future of the EU and discuss them with political decision makers.
