Numbers and spreadsheets were at the heart of this fifth workshop of the training series “Training the Trainers on EU Project Cycle Management”, that took place from 9-11 September in Chernihiv. The trainings are part of IEPs ongoing work (Civic School for Sound EU Practice – CiSEP) to strengthen the capacity of Ukraine’s civil society in the framework of the EU-Ukraine association process.
During the three-day workshop participants worked with Ivan Knežević, Deputy Secretary General of European Movement in Serbia. Knowledge on how to prepare a budget for EU funded projects and how to work with it after a successful project proposal was conveyed in a lecture and group work style to implement the newly acquired information right away and hence maximise the learning process.
The workshop logically continued and finalised the wide topic of the application process for EU funds as part of EU Project Cycle Management.
It was successfully implemented by Martin Stein and jointly organised with IEPs implementing partner Polissya Foundation for International and Regional Studies.
The project is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
The next workshop will take place from 10-12 October in Kyiv.
