Together with Civil Society against Corruption in Moldova – Second workshop implemented

The Institut für Europäische Politik e.V. (IEP) Berlin together with the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) in Chișinău implemented a successful workshop with Moldovan civil society representatives on Anti-Corruption strategies and best practices from Croatia and Georgia. The workshop took place from 27–28 October 2015 in Chișinău and was the second training measure this year as part of the overall programme “Together with Civil Society against Corruption in Moldova”. The programme aims at strengthening the network between civil society organisations in Moldova and at contributing to the revision of the Anti-Corruption Strategy and related institutional reforms.

The workshop was dedicated to the transfer of good administrative and civil practices from Croatia and Georgia to the Moldovan context. It aimed at learning from the successes and failures of the two post-socialist transformation countries in the fight against corruption. Furthermore the participants learnt how civil society actors can improve their monitoring skills and shape the development of anti-corruption policies.

The programme is financed by the German Federal Foreign Office.
