New Research Project “The Truth about Lies on Europe”
The Institute for European Politics, together with the Progressive Zentrum, began a research project in June of this year on rationalizing the debate about Europe in Germany. The goal of the project is to contribute systematically and analytically to the deconstruction of false claims, bogeymen, and prejudices. In so doing, readers will be informed of not only the advantages, but also the risks of the European Union.
Together with our partner, DPZ, the IEP will promote and sustain an interactive debate on the topic. Accordingly, the analysis results will be directed to relevant representatives from politics and civil society for further development and to weaken the basis of populist arguments.
