Civil Dialogue “And now, Europe? We have to talk!” in Rostock

The Institute for European Politics as a scien­tific partner, together with the Europa-Union Deutschland, will organise the next Civil Dialogue in Rostock on Thursday, 28 September 2017 under the title “And now, Europe? We have to talk!”. After a prelim­inary panel discussion on the topic “Where to go with Europe?” with Dr. Thomas Kaufmann, Repre­sen­tation of the European Commission in Germany, and Dr. Annegret Bendiek, Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, the guests can inform themselves and change opinions in two themed rooms:

  1. Europe’s Role in the World: Values, Foreign Policy, Security, Migration
  2. Economy and Society: Employment, Single Market, Consumer and Social Standards

Werner Kuhn, MEP, Jascha Dopp, Head of Unit Ministry of the Interior and Europe Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Enrico Kreft, spokesman for the SPD-Europaforum Schleswig Holstein, are also available for discussion.
