EU-Association for Ukrainian CSOs – Kick-off Workshop in Kyiv
IEP Director Prof Mathias Jopp and Anne Bercio, project leader of “Capacity Building for EU Association in Ukraine” implemented a workshop with civil society representatives from the Ukrainian cities Chernihiv, Odessa and Lviv.
The event, which took place from 24–26 June in Kyiv, was aiming aimed at establishing a cooperation to strengthen CSO’s skills for effective monitoring of the Association Agreement implementation.
All participants agreed to found a German – Ukrainian “Civic School for Sound EU Practice — Громадська школа дієвих практик ЄС”“.
The school is kindly supported by the Federal Foreign Office and will start operating in September when a big opening conference Chernihiv on “EU at a glance – how Association can work for you” will mark the beginning of a two-year training and workshop cycle for CSOs in Ukraine.
